Essential conditions governing vehicle handover and return
Rider must be at least 18 years old (21+ for Royal Enfield 350cc). Original Indian Driving License (Two-Wheeler) and Government ID (Aadhaar / Passport) are mandatory. Learner licenses (LLR) are strictly not permitted.

Customers are responsible for damages incurred during the rental period. We never charge inflated penalty fees — all repairs for broken mirrors, levers, or cracked body panels are billed strictly at actual OEM showroom spare-part cost + standard labor.
The rider is 100% legally responsible for traffic violations committed during the rental period (signal jumping, no-helmet camera challans, speeding, or no-parking fines). If an e-challan is detected post-return, the official government link is forwarded for direct payment.
Univers Bike Rental Madurai is not responsible for personal belongings, baggage, or valuables left behind in the scooter boot, helmet lock, or vehicle storage. Please check all compartments thoroughly before handing over the keys.

Refunds are processed within 5 minutes via GPay, PhonePe, or Cash after vehicle return. We do not deduct for normal micro-scratches. Deductions only occur for broken levers, bent crash guards, or cracked panels at actual spare parts cost.

We provide a 30-minute free grace period. After that, nominal hourly charges apply (₹100/hr for scooters, ₹150/hr for bikes). Delays exceeding 4 hours without prior approval are billed as an extra day.
Any traffic violation fines (speeding, helmet, signal violations) issued during your rental hours are 100% the rider's legal responsibility. Official police challan links will be shared for direct settlement.
